Spanish citizens have the great advantage of being able to visit the Bahamas without needing a visa, thanks to the agreement between the Bahamas and European Union countries. The process is straightforward, but there are important details you should know before booking your flight.

Requirements for Spanish Citizens

The DNI Is Not Valid: You Need a Passport

This is the most common mistake among Spanish tourists: trying to travel with their national ID. The Spanish DNI is not valid for entering the Bahamas. Only the Spanish passport is accepted as a travel document for this destination.

Visa: Spanish Citizens Do Not Need One

European passports, including Spanish ones, have visa-free access to the Bahamas for tourism up to 90 days. The immigration officer determines the exact period granted.

Electronic Immigration Form
